Have you ever been to a Brew & Chew event?

Ladies & gents, I can no longer keep this secret to myself. If you are interested in trying craft beers from a variety of different breweries, Cavanaugh's Brew & Chew is for you. The event is held once a month, alternating between the Headhouse and Rittenhouse locations.

The idea is simple. Each month, one brewery is featured. There are 4 different beers with 4 appetizer pairings for only $25. In a lot of cases, they'll let you have a few of each one, which is great if you're a Drunk Bitch like me. It's a great deal and an awesome way to try some new craft beers without the anxiety of ordering something unknown at a bar. I've been able to try great beers in the past from breweries like Troegs, Weyerbacher, Wolaver's, Goose Island, and so many more. Sometimes, I've even been able to snag a cool pint glass by asking the rep very, very nicely.

I've been going to these events for a long time now, and it's always a great experience. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, there is always a rep from the featured brewery to explain the different beers and answer any questions (I always have a lot), and the food is always pretty darn good.

This month, the featured brewery is Yard's and it will be held on May 15th at Cavanaugh's Rittenhouse. You have to RSVP on their website ahead of time in order to secure a spot, and tips are NOT included in the $25. But believe me, you definitely get your moneys worth. Hope to see you bitches there!

Stay drunk, bitches!
