This is a (seriously) legit reason to go to the Northeast

If you don't have plans yet for this weekend, or if you fell victim to the postponing of the Pennsylvania Bacon Festival, I've got you covered. The 4th Annual Greater Northeast Philadelphia Beer Festival is this Saturday.

I have gone the last three years, and I can say with confidence that this is the one beer festival I really look forward to all year long. All of my craft beer favorites are easy to find there, and I also always get to discover a few new unknown gems.
It's held on the massive grounds of Cannstatter Volkfest Verein, best known for their fantastic Oktoberfest, at Academy and Frankford aves. The location is very accessible via SEPTA, and of course you could always take a cab or Uber. Right now, advance tickets are on sale on their website for only $35, which is a fucking steal considering all of the breweries that will be in attendance, and the event is 4 drunken hours long. This Drunk Bitch will be there, and I hope you will be too.

Stay drunk, bitches!
